"I have been at Sunday Best for five years. I have not ridden much at all since I
was a teenager. I took it upon myself to adopt a quite feisty four year old,
freshly raced Off The Track Thoroughbred mare as my first horse. When she
arrived that morning and was settled into her new home, I promptly looked at her
and thought "now what?" Shanna began the re-training of my horse about three
months after her arrival. As my girl began to gain weight, get a gleaming coat
and become more fit, I soon realized that she was way out of my league to ride.
That's when Shanna stepped in. She worked diligently and patiently with me as I
learned to handle and ride my horse. She worked in unison with horse and rider
so that one's weaknesses became the other's strengths and she trained us to be
partners. We now show together on a regular basis and do quite well. It hasn't
always been easy to achieve these goals, my mare has had several health concerns
and injuries which
have been researched and worked through by Shanna. It is this kind of
dedication to the horses that puts Shanna in a class by herself. The care that
is received here and the effort to work with horses that others would have given

"I have boarded at some of the most exclusive barns in NY, NJ and FL, but I have to say, my favorite place has to be Sunday Best Farm. The care at Sunday Best rallies the $1000 + month boarding facilities, but what makes Sunday Best stand out for me, is the generous, friendly people and the relaxed atmosphere there - which is evident by the way the animals behave.
My horse settled in immediately and he looked great the whole time that I boarded there.
I would recommend Sunday Best Farm to anyone who owns a horse and wants to board at a fun, relaxed but well ran facility. "

"I am currently a boarder at Sunday Best Farm and I am satisfied with the care and assistance provided to myself and my horse. The facility is well maintained and Shanna Dillon is very accessible to answer any questions or concerns and to help with any training issues.
Since I live about 40 minutes away it is nice to know that there is someone there at the facility to watch over my horse and provide the care during the times when I can't be there. I looked around at other stables and didn't find anything with comparable rates where there was someone available 24 hours a day to oversee the facility as there is at Sunday Best Farm."

"We have boarded our three horses with Sunday Best Farm for 7 years. Shanna
takes excellent care of the horses and the farm in general. Her knowledge of
horses and their care is phenomenal and we feel totally comfortable with their
care and any suggestions she makes concerning that. She has an experienced eye
and is alert to changes in behavior that might signal an illness or injury. She
takes any immediate steps needed and then calls to alert us. When she is not on
site herself, she has someone there keep watch and provide care.
I have taken lessons from Shanna as well as watched her give lessons to others
and work horses that she has in training. She is knowledgeable, experienced and
more importantly patient. Being an older rider, I especially appreciate the
patience part. You can also see it in the horses she has in training - they all
seem to reflect a confidence in her and the surrounding. She is an amazing
resource for all things horse related from training, to care and equipment and
just talking horse."

"My wife and I have boarded our horses at Sunday Best for four years. Usually for three months each year.
We are trail riders and spend the winters in Florida.
The thing we like most about Sunday Best is that we know that we can leave our horses and not worry. Shanna has the experience and the eye to know when a horse is not right and she is usually always on site. We have been called at times when one of our horses had a problem and it was already diagnosed. There is never a problem with feeding. Special feeding requirements are always handled without any fuss.
We feel that we are lucky to have found Shanna and Sunday Best. "

"Just want to say how great it is boarding at Sunday Best Farm. I would have never believed you if you had told me I would be riding English and even showing one day. I hadnt ridden in many years and had a horse that wasnt suited for me. It is only due to Shanna Dillon that I have been able to accomplish so much. She found a half-arabian horse, Razz, for me that has been awesome due to her training. It is amazing what she has done with Razz. He has won in just two shows several blues and a grand champion and high point and to think he had never shown before and had only been used by a kid to trail ride. I have boarded at other stables before and never had someone who takes such a personal interest in their boarders. Shanna is so knowledgeable and willing to share her knowledge with her boarders and really goes above and beyond in her care of your horse. She treats every horse as if it were her own. "BEST PLACE EVER FOR HORSE BOARDING: my horses and equipment have been at Sunday Best Farm for over 7 years, Shanna and Wayne tend to them as if they were theirs. I also board these horses back home in Northern NY and yet call Shanna on a regular basis to be sure of the care they are receiving even when i am not in Florida.
